South Windsor Police Arrests Include Larceny, Violating a Protective Order, DUI Charges
Recent arrests by the South Windsor Police Department.

The following information has been provided by the South Windsor Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Nicole Dibattista, 32 of Newington, was arrested Jan. 5 on a warrant and charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Dibattista’s charge stems from a Sept. 2014 complaint from a Sullivan Avenue store owner that said she had stolen $191 from the cash register when she was working there. The investigating officer later obtained an arrest warrant for Dibattista. She was released on a $2,500 surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Jan. 15.

Joshua Spagna, 25, of Graham Road in South Windsor, was arrested Jan. 2 on a warrant and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and failure to drive in proper lane.
Spagna’s charges stem from an Oct. 2014 motor vehicle accident in the 400 block of Graham Road in which he struck a utility pole and was later transported to a hospital for evaluation. Officers obtained a search warrant for his medical records which found that his blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.

Spagna was later released on a $5,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Jan. 12.
Michael Fusco, 60, of Vernon, was arrested Dec. 30 on a warrant and charged with criminal violation of a restraining order.
Fusco’s charge stems from a December incident in which he allegedly made several phone calls to a woman in South Windsor in violation of a restraining order. He was held on a $50,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Dec. 31.
Peter Sohn, 39, of Charing Road in South Windsor, was arrested Dec. 29 on a warrant and charged with 22 counts of issuing a bad check and fifth-degree larceny. Sohn was released on a $2,500 surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Jan. 8.
Jose Pedraza, 46, of Manchester, was arrested Dec. 29 on a warrant and charged with sixth-degree larceny. The charge stems from a July 2014 complaint that he’d stolen a bike from an acquaintance on Main Street and pawned it at an East Hartford pawn shop.
South Windsor Police Officers retrieved the stolen bike from the pawn broker and later obtained an arrest warrant for Pedraza. He was later released on a $1,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Jan. 8.
Ashley Gonzalez, 21, of Hartford, was arrested Dec. 27 on several charges following a motor vehicle accident at about 2 a.m. in the 500 block of Oakland Road.
Police said Gonzalez had driven off the road and struck a tree. Gonzalez was not injured and officers suspected the woman was under the influence of alcohol. Following a series of roadside sobriety tests officers arrested the woman.
Gonzalez was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the Influence of alcohol, no insurance, and failure to drive in proper lane. Gonzalez was later released on a $500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Jan. 5.
