South Windsor Public Schools to Open Wednesday
Power has been restored to all seven public schools, according to Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kate Carter.
South Windsor public schools will be open on Wednesday, Oct. 31, according to Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kate Carter.
Carter said that a notification to parents and guardians through the school messenger service around dinnertime.
The announcement was made after school officials learned that power had been restored to all seven public schools in town.
Timothy Edwards Middle School was without power as of this morning, but it has since been restored.
South Windsor High School served as the town's emergency shelter, which opened at 2 p.m. Monday. The shelter was closed down at 9 a.m. today.
