Husson University, Bangor ME

  • South Windsor resident Rachel A. Helmke has been named to Husson University's President's List for the spring 2020 semester. Helmke is a junior who is currently enrolled in Husson's Bachelor of Science in Communications Technology with a concentration in live sound technology program. Students who make the President's List must carry at least 12 graded credit hours during the semester and earn a grade point average of 3.80 to 4.0 during the period.

Ithaca College, Ithaca NY

  • Tyler Harner of South Windsor graduated from Ithaca College with a BS in Cinema & Photography.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

  • Springfield College has named nine students from South Windsor to the dean's list for academic excellence for the 2020 spring semester. Those students and their majors are Lauren Rankin, Applied Exercise Science; Lauren Landino, Business Management; Taylor Sanzo, Communication/Sport Journalism; Emily Van Horn, English; Sarah Nickolas, Health Science/Occupational Therapy; Olivia Siracuse, Health Science/Occupational Therapy; Emilee Gebhart, Health Science/Pre-physician Assistant; Jessica Van Horn, Health Science/Pre-physician Assistantt; and Kasey Lucia, Psychology.

University of New Hampshire, Durham NH

  • Five students from South Windsor have been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the spring 2020 semester. Emma Lapierre, Highest Honors, majoring in Neuroscience & Behavior; Morgan Oberly, Highest Honors, majoring in Hotel & Hospitality Management; Kyle Polito, High Honors, majoring in Business Administration; Justin Coralli, Honors, majoring in Environmental Engineering; and Sophie Czapla, High Honors, majoring in Communication Sci & Disorders. Students named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.
