• Stonington Schools Seek Teachers, Staff To Fill Open Roles (patch.com) — Families and job seekers in Stonington should know the public schools are still hiring for a wide range of roles, from teachers and student support staff to food service, maintenance, and van drivers. District officials note many openings are seasonal or replacement positions, including in special education, rather than brand-new budget additions.    

• H.S. roundup: Old Lyme's Gilbert wins three events in Class S meet (theday.com) — Stonington High’s boys’ tennis team advanced to the Class S semifinals with a 5–2 quarterfinal win over Granby and now heads to face No. 2 Shepaug Valley. The roundup also highlights strong showings by Old Lyme, Lyman Memorial, Wheeler and other Eastern Connecticut schools at the Class S track championships and in golf and girls’ tennis.
