Visit Beer'd Brewing during the American Velvet Mill Open House at the Mill, June 28. Friday 5pm to 9pm and Saturday, 29, 11am to 4pm. Beer'd Brewing is located at the Velvet Mill and will be open for free tastings and for anyone wanting to purchase a growler filled with their favorite brews to take home. Beer'd Brewing's doors will open Friday 5pm to 9pm and on Saturday 1pm to 5pm. The American Velvet Mill is a wonderful old mill building located in the scenic town of Stonington, CT. It houses not only the brewery but over 30 artist studios. The Open House is a great opportunity to visit with the artists and see their work. Have fun going studio to studio, check out the screen printing at Poor Morgans, stop at Beer'd for a beer tasting and visit with Zest an amazing new bakery. Have fun watching a piece of art being created in Jeff P'an glass blowing studio, these are just some of the fun things to experience at the Open House.
