Cause of Stonington House Fire to Remain Undetermined

STONINGTON, CT – The cause of a fire that occurred at an unoccupied home in June will remain undetermined, the Westerly Sun reported.

The fire occurred on June 17 at 14 L’Hirondelle Lane, according to the Westerly Sun. Investigators for the Quiambaug Fire District recently completed an investigation into the blaze and marked it as undetermined.

Officials were able to dismiss any suspicious activity and narrow down possible causes, the Westerly Sun reported. There was not enough evidence to label full cause, however, and the case is now considered closed.
