Dental Patient Joins Practice as Staff Dentist
"The staff has been joking for probably ten years, asking me when I was joining Contemporary Dentistry, and now here I am."

Daniel J. Nasser, D.M.D., has joined Contemporary Dentistry in his hometown of Groton, CT. “The staff has been joking for probably ten years, asking me ‘When are you going to join our staff?’ and now here I am,” shares Dr. Nasser.
“I have been a patient here for fifteen years, as has my family,” stated Dr. Nasser. Nasser has joined his mentor Dr. John “Jack” Johnson, Drs. Donna J. Sanfilippo and Mildred L. Goebel. “Dr. Johnson has been following my education after high school, and even wrote a letter of recommendation on my behalf for dental school,” says Nasser. Originally planning on studying pre-med, he changed his focus in his sophomore year to dentistry.
Growing up in Groton, Nasser attended Fitch High School. He then attended the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT, and received a B.S. in Physiology and Neurobiology. He then attended the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine at the UCONN Health Center in Farmington, CT. Dr. Nasser then continued his training as a General Practice Resident at the New York Hospital in Queens N.Y. The next step was fairly logical, return home and join Contemporary Dentistry.
