The Annual Bearathon 5K Road Race will be held this Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th at 10:00 AM. The race will begin at the Mystic YMCA and loop around Mason’s Island. It will also be timed by professional timing company SNERRO and is endorsed by USA Track and Field. All proceeds from the race will benefit Stonington High School's Classes of 2013 and 2015, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Pawcatuck VFW in honor of Memorial Day. The cost of registration is $15 before race day and $20 on race day. The race is open to runners and walkers. The first 50 pre-registrants will receive a free Bearathon T-shirt.
If you are interested in participating in the Bearathon 5K Road Race, you can download a registration form from our race website at www.shsbearathon.com. Pre-registration forms must be received by Stonington High School before May 24th. After this date, runners/walkers will need to register on race day. Race day registration will begin at 8:00 AM at the Mystic YMCA located at 1 Harry Austin Drive in Mystic, CT.
