Intoxicated New London Man Charged for Pushing Stroller in Stonington

He and two men seemed under the influence of alcohol while pushing a baby in a stroller.

STONINGTON, CT- A New London man was arrested late Saturday after police say he was pushing a stroller down the street intoxicated with an 18-month old baby inside, The Day reported.

Police reportedly received a call close to 10:30 p.m. that three men were pushing a stroller in the middle of the road near Stillman Avenue, seemingly drunk, according to The Day. Cody Belanger-Marlo, 24, was found responsible for the child but evaded police questioning, including lying about the child’s name.

He was charged for risk of injury to a child, as well as for lying to police, according to The Day. The two other men were not charged.
