Artists Begin To Pack Up As Rain Continues
Sunday August 14, 2011
1:30 p.m.: We gave in to the rain. Patch is heading home to dry out. Most of the streets in downtown Mystic are now open. The Mystic Chamber is allowing vendors and artists to leave, but there are a few left. There are some big thunderstorms rumored to be coming our way so if you are out or planning to go out please be careful.
12:00 p.m.: We don't know about you, but we're wet. The Mystic Chamber and Groton and Stonington Police Departments have begun to open up the roads in downtown Mystic for artists and vendors to pack up. They are expecting the art festival will end early around 1:30 p.m., due to the weather. If you're still in area stop by before heading out and grab some Patch swag.

11:04 a.m.: We've found a pair of child's pink Barbie sunglasses. They'll be at the Mystic Chamber if you're missing them.
9:02 a.m.: It's pouring at the Mystic Outdoor Art Festival this morning. But there the artists are here setting up and Patch is here in front of . Comes say hi, grab some Patch swag and check out the art. Don't let a little rain keep you away.
