Mandatory Water Ban Enacted for Stonington, Mystic Customers

The ban encompasses outdoor watering devices, effective immediately.

MYSTIC, CT – A water ban was enacted Friday for Mystic and Stonington, NBC Connecticut reported.

Aquarion Water Company is working with town officials to implement the ban for its customers, according to NBC Connecticut. The ban is effective immediately due to a drought.

The ban encompasses outdoor watering devices, NBC Connecticut reported. This includes sprinklers, soaker hoses and irrigation systems.
