Mystic Flag Ceremony Nationalizes Immigrants Across the State
The event also took time to honor veterans for their service.

MYSTIC, CT- A ceremony was held at Mystic Seaport on Tuesday to grant citizenship to more than 70 state residents, Fox 61 reported.
These new citizens represented over 40 different countries, according to Fox 61. They similarly also represented many different areas of the state, from some as close as Mystic to some as far as Fairfield.
The ceremony also celebrated veterans for their service, coinciding with Flag Day’s 100th anniversary, Fox 61 reported. They were honored with medals simply for the act of service.
