Mystic Man Leads Police on High Speed Car Chase Through 5 Towns

After refusing to pull over, a man led police on a chase through five different towns.

WATERFORD, CT - Police arrested a Mystic man Friday after he led police on a high-speed car chase through five towns, ending with his car hitting a wall, The Day reported.

After refusing to pull over for an officer while driving on Route 1 in Waterford, Michael Beck, 29, sped away from police at speeds exceeding 80 mph, according to The Day. He led police through Waterford, Salem, Montville and Norwich before hitting a wall in New London.

Police used speed sticks to deflate Beck’s tires in Norwich, according to The Day. No injuries were reported and Beck was placed under arrest.
