Mystic Perkins Farm Project Moves Forward with Planning and Zoning Approval
The project has moved closer to reality with the commission's recent approval.

MYSTIC, CT -- A zoning code amendment was approved Tuesday by the Planning and Zoning Commission that could move a Perkins Farm project forward, the Westerly Sun reported.
The project hopes to transform the 70-acre Perkins Farm property on Jerry Browne Road into a medical research campus, according to the Westerly Sun. The campus would include housing and office spaces.
Tuesday’s discussion was a continuation of the public hearing on the amendment held on Aug. 2, the Westerly Sun reported. The commission heard from a number of neighbors and local leaders who spoke in favor of the application.
