Save The Bay announces new partnership with StoneRidge Life Plan Community

Save The Bay is pleased to announce a new partnership with StoneRidge Life Plan Community in Mystic, Connecticut. StoneRidge Executive Director Richard Kisner kicked off the partnership at Save The Bay’s South Coast Center in Westerly on Wednesday, March 16, with a $5,000 check presentation to Save The Bay. The three-month partnership will support Save The Bay’s South Coast Center, along with the organization’s variety of educational and environmental programs.

“Our residents are actively involved with environmental conservation, protection, education and advocacy. So we are thrilled to partner with Save The Bay, an organization with goals that mirror those of our own. Working together, we can help keep protect and preserve the beauty of this coastal community that we call home,” said Kisner.

The partnership will directly support the Charlestown Breachway Coastal Cleanup, part of a statewide effort to clean up debris and waste from shorelines, and Artists For the Bay, an annual art show and sale benefitting Save The Bay. In addition to financial resources, StoneRidge residents are committed to volunteering for the cleanup and to serving as docents at Save The Bay’s South Coast Center.
