Sprigs & Twigs will sell Avenger® Weed Killer, an organic herbicide, directly to eco-conscious consumers from its office in Gales Ferry.
Avenger® Weed Killer is fast-acting, quickly dissipates and is safe to use near people, pets and wildlife. It does not stain brick, concrete or pavement. Made from oranges, lemons and other citrus fruits, Avenger® Weed Killer is EPA registered, meets the criteria of the NOP Rule (for Use in Organic Gardening & Organic Production by the USDA National Organics Program) and is an Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) listed product. It controls most weeds, grasses and broadleaves including spurge, sow thistle, shepherd’s purse, clover, hairy fleabane, crabgrass, smooth crabgrass, dandelion, whitestem filaree, Bermuda grass, bindweed, Johnson grass, and little mallow.
