Stonington Borough Couple Appeal Approval of Town Dock Dog Park Fence

The couple had sued the town last year, claiming the property was an "illegal dog park."

STONINGTON, CT – A borough couple have appealed the approval of a plan to build a fence on town dog park property, The Day reported.

Laura Ann Gabrysch and Frank Mastrapasqua own a home on Front Street, according to The Day. They have previously sued the town over the Town Dock dog park, on the grounds that it is an “illegal dog park.”

The appeal asked that a judge reverse the fence’s approval, deny the application and order the commission to hold a site plan review, The Day reported. They said the commission failed to hold a site plan review for the fence, which it maintains was required.
