Stonington Boy First Pediatric Patient to Try Medical Marijuana in CT
After a recent law took effect this month, a Stonington boy was the first pediatric patient to try medical marijuana.

STONINGTON, CT – A local boy was the first to receive pediatric marijuana after a recent law on the matter took effect this month, News 8 reported.
Linda Lloyd gave her son, Henry, his first dose on Thursday, becoming the first pediatric patient to try medical marijuana, News 8 reported. She had testified in March with other parents in front of lawmakers to get the program expanded to children.
Medical marijuana became available to pediatric patients in Connecticut on Saturday, Oct. 1, News 8 reported. There are currently only a few products made specifically for pediatric patients.
