Stonington Receives Grant to Extend Sidewalk from High School to Downtown Pawcatuck
The development is meant to benefit high school students, seniors and others who walk along South Broad Street.

STONINGTON, CT – The town announced Tuesday is has received a grant to connect the high school with downtown Pawcatuck, according to The Day.
The $500,000 grant comes from the state Department of Housing, The Day reported. The money will go towards extending the sidewalks from the high school to downtown Pawcatuck.
The idea has been discussed by town officials for years, and is now finally being put into action, according to The Day. The development is meant to benefit high school students, seniors and others who walk along South Broad Street.
