Stonington Woman Charged With Concealing Stun Gun While Preparing for Court
She was charged for carrying a dangerous weapon, after being charged with DUI in May and June.

STONINGTON, CT --- A Pawcatuck woman was charged with trying to conceal a stun gun when officers prepared to take her to court, the Westerly Sun reported.
Shannon Lewis was discovered to be concealing the weapon during a police pat-down, according to the Westerly Sun. It was unclear how she had obtained the weapon or who it belonged to.
Lewis had been on her way to a pretrial hearing for charges of driving under the influence in June, according to the Westerly Sun. She had previously been charged with DUI in May.
