Heritage walking tours of Stonington village are offered Sunday afternoons at 2 pm throughout the summer, weather permitting. Sponsored by the Stonington Historical Society, the tour starts at the Old Lighthouse Museum, 7 Water Street. $10 per adult, $5 per student (to age 18). Discounts offered when combined with museum admission. The Old Lighthouse Museum is open to visitors every day except Wednesdays, 10 am to 5 pm. The Capt. Palmer House, a National Historic Landmark, is open 1 to 5 pm Thursday through Sunday.
