Coronavirus Stratford: Sterling House Seeks Food Donations
The Stratford community center sent out an email recently listing the items it needs most amid the spread of the new coronavirus.
STRATFORD, CT — Many Stratford organizations have closed their doors in the last week as the new coronavirus spreads across Connecticut, but the Sterling House Community Center food pantry is not one of them. With one confirmed case and one possible case of the virus in Stratford, children are home from school, many businesses have been directed to close and families are in need.
Sterling House sent an email over the weekend outlining the items it would most like to see donated.
"We have received many messages asking us what we'll need in our Food Pantry during the upcoming weeks. We are so grateful to be part of a community with this kind of outreach," the email said.
