The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Continuing on a fiscally conservative financial path. What I intend to do about it is continue the work we as a council began two years ago under the leadership of Mayor Laura Hoydick. We have a plan and a vision. I want to see it come to fruition.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I am someone who wears my heart on my sleeve and consistently puts forth a 150% effort towards everything I commit too. I give people my word and follow up when I say I will and work very hard at both running my business and representing my district in my councilor role. I always have believed in practicing what I preach and am so proud and honored that so many friends, neighbors and constituents who live in my district continue to support me along the way.
List other issues that define your campaign platform:
I pride myself on having been accessible and responsive to all my constituents over the past two years. We as a council with Mayor Hoydick started to implement policies that are now saving taxpayers money and with your support on November 5th, we can continue to work to create a better Stratford.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have been the Council Majority leader for the past two years. I have consistently worked across the aisle with my fellow councilors to pass two consecutive budgets that decreased taxes. I will work with anyone who is truly trying to do the right thing for this town. My record shows that.
The best advice ever shared with me was ...
Pay it forward
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
As a volunteer, I have put everything into this role to give back to the community I love. I would be honored to be granted the opportunity to continue to serve my fellow friends, neighbors and constituents in Stratford.
