Stratford Democratic Primary 2021: Endorsed Candidates Win

There were Democratic primaries for two Town Council seats in Stratford on Tuesday, Sept. 14.

STRATFORD, CT — Both candidates endorsed by the Stratford Town Committee won their primary elections for Town Council on Tuesday, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reported Dianne Nolan defeated Dick Brown 178 to 34 in the 8th District, and Linda Chaffin beat Rick Marcone 58 to 36 in the 9th District. Both Town Council seats are currently held by Republicans.

Both Town Council seats are currently held by Republicans.

In the 8th District, Richard Brown is challenging Dianne Nolan, who received the Democratic Town Committee’s endorsement in July.

In the 9th District, endorsed candidate Linda Chaffin is facing a challenge from former Democratic Registrar of Voters Rick Marcone.
