T-Shirt Campaign Launched in Honor of Stratford Dispatcher Killed in Crash

STRATFORD, CT — Local emergency responders have launched an online campaign selling T-shirts in honor of Laura Price, the Stratford dispatcher killed in a car crash on Aug. 8, to help raise funds for her son’s education.

The $20 shirts are black with the words “Laura Price, Last Call Aug. 7th, 2016” written on the front along with the badges for Stratford Emergency Communications, the Pine Rock Volunteer Fire Department in Shelton, and the Shelton Police Department.

The shirts are being sold at booster.com and the campaign runs through Aug. 25. For more information or to buy a T-shirt visit here.

All funds raised will be paid directly to The Laura Price Memorial Fund for The Laura Price Memorial Fund, according to the page.

More than 600 people turned out to pay their respects to Price at the Riverview Funeral home on Wednesday evening.

Price started her career as a part-time dispatcher for the Shelton Police Department before accepting a full-time position in Stratford eight years ago.

She also had been a volunteer firefighter at Pine Rock Fire Company # 4 in Shelton for 15 years.

She is survived by her husband, William Price, her 9-year-old son, Ethan, and stepson Joseph Price.
