Connecticut Vegetarian Society Picnic and Beach Day

Northern Connecticut Vegetarian Society is a nonprofit organization, which advocates a compassionate and healthy vegetarian diet. We welcome all people who want to improve their health and the health of our world.  We would appreciate your including our Beach Day in the Calendar.  The details of this event are:

 August 28, Sunday, 11 a.m. Northern Connecticut Vegetarian Society will have its picnic and beach day at Sunrise Park, 2075 Mountain Road (Route 168), West Suffield, Connecticut.  Enjoy the picnic, hiking, and swimming.  Bring your musical instruments, as a music jam would be great.  For the picnic, bring a healthy vegan dish or juice to share along with a note card listing your ingredients.  Summer fresh raw foods would be a delight.  Also, please bring your place setting (plate, cup, and utensils).  Dogs on leashes and children are welcome.  Dogs have their own swimming area!  As Tina has reserved the Pavilion for our group, we will be dry and comfortable even if it rains. A donation would be appreciated to continue our programs.  For more information, see www.northctveg.org or call Harry at (860) 623-8082 or email veggyharry@aol.com.
