Suffield Wrestlers Win 2, Drop 1st Match of Season

The Wildcats started the day with a 42-18 win over Housatonic at the Ledyard/Fitch Tournament at Ledyard High School on Wednesday. Dillion Lisk and Dan D'Ostuni scored pins for the Wildcats in a match that saw a large number of forfeits.

The Wildcats then went onto to beat Fitch in a 45-30 match that had pins by co-captains Kevin Bentz and Dan D'Ostuni, along with Sean Kucia and Matt Nardi. Windsor Locks' Cam Thomas and East Granby's Steve Sabota also scored wins for their respective one-man teams. 

The Wildcats then met a very tough Ledyard team to lose their first match of the year, 69-12. Dan D'Ostuni and Matt Nardi both had pins during the match, accounting for all of Suffield's points.
