East Lyme Water Main Flushing Taking Place This Week
The East Lyme Water Department said flushing will likely continue at the intersection of Black Point Road and West Main Street.
July 14 Post from East Lyme Public Safety:
Flushing of the mains began on North Bride Brook Road yesterday working southerly toward West Main Street. Today, flushing continued easterly on West Main Street to Sessa Lane.
It is anticipated that the intersection of Black Point Road and West Main Street will be reached by the end of the day tomorrow. Customers who had discolored water before may experience discolored water again while flushing occurs.

It is, however, expected to be temporary in nature and should subside when flushing is completed in your area.
