Missing Boater at Hamburg Cove in Lyme: UPDATE

Crews are searching for a missing boater at Hamburg Cove in Lyme, NBC Connecticut reports. The male boater reportedly went out on the water sometime Sunday and did not return.

Various departments and agencies are assisting in the search, State Police were notified of the incident around 4:20 a.m. Lt. Arthur Godale with the State Police told NBC it is unknown if the man may have fallen overboard.

The man’s boat has been recovered from the water, it wasn’t capsized and was anchored.
