Former Trumbull Cop Arrested Again
The former officer illegally used the department's computer database, State Police said.
TRUMBULL, CT — Former Trumbull Police officer Michael Gonzalez was arrested after he illegally used a police database to search for addresses and vehicles listed to a person who accused him of sexual assault, according to State Police.
Gonzalez resigned from the department in October 2018. He was arrested following two domestic incidents that involved a fellow female officer. He was granted a pretrial diversionary program, Officer Kaitlyn Arcamone had charges against her nolled and she was fired by the department.
State Police found that Gonzalez illegally used the database in March and April of 2017. Gonzalez was being investigated for a reported sexual assault that occurred in August 2017, according to State Police. The State Police investigation started in September 2018 after they were contacted by the State's Attorney's Office about the complaint.

The statute of limitations expired for inappropriate sexual contact, State Police said.
Gonzalez was charged with two counts of third-degree computer crime and turned himself in June 27. He was released after posting a $75,000 bond.
