• Man Accused Of Stealing Cash, Vehicle From Trumbull Daycare: Police (patch.com) — Parents and residents in Trumbull may be relieved to hear police quickly tracked a stolen car and cash back to a suspect after an overnight burglary at a Beardsley Parkway daycare. Officers say they found the Bridgeport man in the allegedly stolen vehicle with cash, suspected narcotics, and the daycare's keys, leading to multiple charges and a $50,000 bond.
   

• Trumbull Man Accused Of Defrauding Amazon Of More Than $3.5M Sentenced To Prison: Feds (patch.com) — A Trumbull resident has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme involving Amazon Logistics trucking contracts. Prosecutors say he created or misused 23 trucking business accounts to submit more than 1,000 fake transportation invoices, and he must repay over $3.5 million in restitution.
