Trumbull Woman, 88, Charged in Motorcyclist's Death

An 88-year-old woman was charged with negligent homicide after she allegedly hit a motorcyclist in Trumbull last September. 

Ruth Tabor of Trumbull was charged by police on Jan. 9, according to the Trumbull Times.

Daniel U. Rueda, 48, of Twitchgrass Road in Trumbull was killed after Tabor, who was driving a Honda Civic, attempted to turn left from Church Hill Road onto Quality Street, said Lt. Thomas Savarese. Her vehicle collided with Rueda, who was traveling southbound on Church Hill Road.

No other serious injuries were reported at the scene.
