Armed Intruder At Vernon Apartment Complex Facing Felony Charge
A Manchester man is facing a felony charge after a knife incident at a Vernon apartment complex, police said.

VERNON, CT — Vernon police tracked down an armed intruder at a local apartment complex after he fled the scene of a disturbance, according to an arrest report. He is now facing a felony charge, among others, according to the arrest report.
The incident at the Dobbs Crossing complex on Hartford Turnpike took place at 9:59 p.m. on Wednesday, police said.
Officers responded to the scene, but the man, identified as a 28-year-old Manchester resident, had fled the property, according to an incident report.

He was tracked down a short time later and a knife was confiscated, police said.
The accused was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, a felony in Connecticut. He was also charged with interfering with police, third-degree assault and second-degree threatening.

He appeared in court Thursday, posted a $25,000 bond and is due back before a judge on April 20, judicial system records indicate.
