VERNON, CT — Authorities have broken up a drug operation in Vernon.

On Tuesday, the East Central Narcotics Task Force, along with Vernon and Manchester police, raided a Talcott Avenue residence with two search warrants, the result of an ongoing investigation into drug activity at the home.

A suspect in the case, identified as 27-year-old Vernon resident Sylvester Anthony-Tyrone Williams, was located in a parked vehicle at a nearby business, according to an arrest report. Investigators located on Williams fentanyl, crack cocaine, three different types of pills that were controlled substances and $750 in U.S.currency, according to an arrest report.

In a bedroom at the house, investigators located $741 in cash and "several types" of drug paraphernalia, according to an arrest report.

Williams was charted with the use of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance (five counts), possession with the intent to sell and operating a drug factory.

He appeared on Rockville Superior Court Wednesday and failed to post a $250,000 bond, judicial system records show. He is due back in court on Dec 20.
