Bonds Pile Up For Running Shoplifting Suspect In Vernon: Police
A shoplifting case became complicated in Vernon.

VERNON, CT — Bonds piled up quickly for scrambling shoplifting suspect in Vernon, police said.
According to an arrest report, at 2:14 p.m. Saturday, Vernon police officers were dispatched to TJ Maxx at 35 Talcottville Road for a larceny complaint.
When they arrived, officers were told by store staff members that a man wearing a black pea coat, black pants and white athletic shoes had run from the store with stolen merchandise, according to an arrest report.

He was seen running toward the M&T Bank branch across Talcottville Road, according to an arrest report.
Police caught up to the 30-year-old Holyoke, MA, resident and handcuffed him, according to an arrest report.

While the man was being detained, police discovered he was wanted in two failure to appear cases.
For sixth-degree larceny and interfering withy police, the man's bond was set at $5,000.
Bonds of $10,000 and $5,000 were attached to the pair of FTA warrants, records show.
He is due on Court on March 31 for the shoplifting case and on April 6 for the FTA cases, records show.
