The old Bennigan's building has been torn down.
VERNON, CT - The old Bennigan's restaurant on Route 30 is gone and in its place Thursday stood a large mount of dirt.
The project to build a new Cumberland Farms store was officially under way.
It will be the second Cumby's in town. There is a massive, modern store a short distance away in the town's other commercial district along Route 83.
