D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches Donates To Vernon Fire Department

D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches recently delivered free sandwiches to the Vernon Fire Department.
The donation was part D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches’ EveryDAy Heroes program, in which D’Angelo seeks out community heroes and delivers them free lunch as a sign of appreciation for the work they do in the community.

Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches continued their Pizza My Heart and EveryDAy Heroes programs last week, seeking out community heroes and delivering them free pizza or sandwiches as a sign of appreciation for the work they do.

From the start of the programs last year until the end of June 2021, through their respective donations, Papa Gino’s gave away 1,456 X-Large Pizzas to 186 organizations, and D’Angelo donated 8,450 Sandwiches and bags of Chips to 178 organizations. The donations were received by heroes of all kinds, in communities across New England.
“The Pizza My Heart and EveryDAy Heroes programs allow us to do our part in supporting the heroes in the communities we serve,” said Deena McKinley, CMO of Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo. “We are grateful for the opportunity these programs provide to connect with our neighbors, learn about the amazing things going on in our communities, and then reward the individuals involved with delicious food!”
Recipients are chosen through nominations from community members across New England. The primary method of nominating for these donations is to fill out the quick and easy nomination forms online:
