VERNON, CT — A man Vernon police say was rummaging through a dumpster on Monday turned out to be a fugitive wanted in a felony drug case out of Rhode Island, an arrest report indicates.

At 10:13 a.m., the cops tracked down the man, identified as 54-year-old Wesley Fortin, speeding in a car with fake registration plates, according to a report.
