Manchester Man Charged With Murder In Death Of Vernon Woman
The man has been charged in connection with the death of a 22-year-old woman whose body was found Monday inside her apartment in Vernon.

VERNON, CT — A resident of Manchester has been charged with murder and other crimes in connection with the "untimely death" of a woman whose body was found inside a Vernon apartment Monday.
Abdul Mboob, 23, was additionally charged with tampering with physical evidence, first-degree strangulation, interfering with an investigation, issuing a false statement and risk of injury to a child. He is being held on $5 million bond, and is slated to be arraigned Tuesday in Rockville Superior Court.
Around 12:07 p.m., Vernon police responded to the Ledgecrest apartment complex at 79 Brooklyn Street for a welfare check. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of a woman, later identified as Anastasia Paul, 22, of Vernon, Lt. Robert Marra said.
