Unruly Man Kicked Out Of Civil Courthouse In Vernon

An altercation broke out in the Tolland County Civil Courthouse Friday.

VERNON, CT — A man who lives just down the road from the Tolland County Civil Courthouse in Vernon was thrown out of the facility Friday after becoming unruly, state police said.

According to an arrest report, state police were called to the facility at 10:19 a.m. The man, identified as 43-year-old Genaro Gonzalez, refused to leave, state police said. His listed address is in the Rockville section of Vernon, less than a half-mile from the courthouse, records show.

He was uncooperative with troopers once they arrived, according to an arrest report.

Gonzalez was charged with simple trespass, interfering with officers and second-degree breach of peace, according to an arrest report.
