The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and
this is what I intend to do about it.

Bringing in and providing continued support businesses. It is critical that we draw in businesses but just as important that we help them remain profitable. I intend to actively help seek funds for entrepreneurship in downtown Rockville and to help fill empty storefronts throughout town. I will also continue to speak with business owners like myself to find ways to best support them so they can continue to thrive in town.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates
seeking this post?

My experience as a small business owner has provided me experience at evaluating budgets and looking for the most effective way to achieve goals while sticking to the budget. My nominated to serve on the Board of Directors for the CT Business and Industry Association reflects on these skills.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

Crumbling foundations, road safety, infrastructure, inclusivity and diversity

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Leadership as President/President of a small business and Chairperson of Inland Wetlands, CBIA Board of Directors

The best advice ever shared with me was ...

Treat others as you'd like to be treated.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your
positions?

I am a lifelong Vernon resident. My parents were born and raised here as my children have been. I met my husband at Rockville High. I have a deep love for Vernon and Rockville and feel strongly that I could benefit my neighbors as a member of the Town Council. When elected, I would give 100 percent to helping make sure discussions have a high degree of transparency and that every voice is heard.
