Vernon Cops Looking For Thief Who Likes Booze And The Yankees
Vernon police have released a surveillance image of a liquor store theft involving a Yankees fan.
VERNON, CT — Vernon police are looking for a man in a specially designed Yankees hat who likes to steal liquor, not bases.
Police Monday released a surveillance camera image of a Feb. 25 liquor store caper.
At 8:25 p.m. that day, a man stole alcoholic beverages from Rockville Discount Liquors, police said.

The suspect is being described as an "Hispanic male," wearing a black sweatshirt, green camouflage pants, red sneakers, and a New York Yankees hat with a gold emblem and gold brim.
Police said anyone with information on the incident can call Vernon police at 860-872-9126 Ext. 2092.
