Vernon Water Treatment Plant Meeting Schedule Changed

VERNON, CT — Due to the winter weather forecast for Thursday, the public information session schedule for Vernon’s wastewater treatment facility upgrade has been changed, town officials said.

The meeting scheduled for Thursday evening at the Rockville Public Library, has been postponed. The session has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 6:30 p.m . The Library is located at 52 Union St.

An additional Public Information Session is planned for Dec. 3, 2018 at 7 p.m. at
Rockville High School, 70 Loveland Hill Road.

At both sessions, residents will be able to meet with representatives from the Town and Water
Pollution Control Authority to learn about the state-mandated project.
