• Man accused of beating stranger unconscious at Walmart after believing he secretly photographed a child (kptv.com) — Police say a man was seriously injured in a July 25 assault outside the Wallingford Walmart after another man allegedly believed he had photographed a child. Investigators report the victim was beaten unconscious, identified a suspect through surveillance video, and later arrested him on assault and related charges. The injured man was taken to a hospital for treatment.
