West Hartford Home Damaged By Fire
Firefighters saw smoke and flames on the second-floor of the home.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local firefighters were quickly able to snuff out a blaze Friday morning at a residence on High Farms Road.
According to West Hartford Firefighters Local 1241, the West Hartford Fire Department was called to that road to deal with a reported structure fire.
When firefighters arrived, they were greeted by smoke and fire on the second floor of a single-family residence, the union wrote on social media.

"Crews worked quickly and effectively to stop fire spread and extinguish the active fire. We wish the affected family the best during this time," wrote Local 1241.
Firefighters said the home was not occupied at the time of the fire and no one was hurt.
