Mothers Against Drunk Driving Recognizes West Hartford Police Officers
Officers Jeff Swank and Danny Bedford were recently honored by MAAD for their DWI arrests.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving recently honored West Hartford police officers Jeff Swank and Danny Bedford for their diligence in keeping drunk drivers off the street.
Officer Swank is the top enforcer of DWI and traffic laws with 80 DWI arrests in 2014, according to a press release.
Due in part to Officer Swank’s work, the West Hartford Police Department received a grant from the CT DOT Highway Safety Office for DWI enforcement efforts.

Officer Bedford is one of the department’s most dedicated DWI enforcement officers and is a member of the crash reconstruction team. He sets a high standard for all police officers in the field of DWI enforcement.
Officer Bedford made 34 DWI arrests 2014.
