Talk Trash To West Hartford, Help Town Reduce It
The town is asking folks to take a survey as it looks to reduce the amount of trash generated locally. The deadline is Thursday, May 23.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The town is asking its residents/business owners to talk a little trash and provide some feedback about reducing it in the community.
As a result, the Town of West Hartford has created an online survey that it is asking folks to take to tell them what needs to be done to do just that.
The deadline for the survey is Thursday, May 23.

"The Town of West Hartford is exploring ways to reduce the amount of residential trash it generates and decrease the environmental impact of food scrap waste currently burned in incinerators and buried in landfills," wrote the town.
"We would appreciate your feedback on how we move forward."

Local officials said "participation in this survey is crucial, and your input will greatly contribute to shaping the future of waste management in West Hartford."
The survey should take about 10-15 minutes.
