Webster House Fundraiser Extended To Friday

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A recent fundraiser for the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society was so successful, the society extended online auction bidding for several items.

Following last week's "War of the Words" fundraising event, bidding for several items has been extended to Friday, May 17, at noon. Click here to bid.

Items include:

• A "Garden Basket," which includes gardening gloves, lotion, tea, a journal, a floral scented candle, the "Magnolia Table" coffee book, and a gift certificate to Elmo's Dockside Restaurant.

• Special private tasting for up to 10 people at Hartford Flavor Co., an upscale distillery in the capital city.

• A DEWALT combination kit that includes four cordless power tools.

• Three-month membership to Excel Fitness in West Hartford, including a fitness assessment and two personal training sessions.

• A visit to the Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington, best known for its Impressionist masterpieces, architecture, and lovely grounds

• One free month of rock climbing at Stone Age Rock Gym in Manchester.

•One pair of orchestra tickets for "A Beautiful Noise" on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at The Bushnell Theater in Hartford.

• Four guest passes to enjoy an experience at the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center in Hartford.

Each bid supports the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society, which is located on 227 S. Main St., West Hartford.
