EASTON, CT — The 2023 municipal election is heating up in Easton and there are plenty of races with candidates eager to serve in elected office.

Why are you seeking this office?

Primarily, I would like to be of service to the community, and this office is a great opportunity. Secondarily, I have a lifetime connection to and fondness for the Easton Library, and being able to hold an active role with it would be an honor.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Rather than address issues, my aim and preference is to seek to know the desires and concerns members of the community have regarding the library, and then to do what I can to meet those desires and concerns.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Throughout my years of activity in business and on my church's council, I have taken pride in serving as a conduit for collaboration and a bridge to close disagreement. It is my firm intention to provide the same in any position of service I might ever hold for the town of Easton.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

To always seek out the "story" of all sides in a disagreement.
