Pennsylvania Woman Accused Of Stealing Wallet At Westport HomeGoods Store: Police (patch.com) — Westport police have charged a 59-year-old Philadelphia woman in connection with a 2023 wallet theft at the HomeGoods on Post Road East, where a shopper's credit card was used for unauthorized purchases. After investigators identified her and obtained a warrant, she turned herself in at Westport Police Headquarters, posted $10,000 bond, and is due in Stamford Superior Court on Sept. 30.
4. 2 New York Men Accused Of February Vehicle Theft In Westport: Police (patch.com) — Westport residents may notice two men remain in custody after being charged in connection with a February theft of a 2022 Rivian from Volvo of Westport. Police used tracking technology and surveillance footage to recover the vehicle on Post Road East, later arresting the suspects on warrants as they were set for release from New Haven Correctional Center.

Sabit's 'Good People' wins the Westport Prize for Literature (westportjournal.com) — Westport readers can look forward to a November 12 ceremony at the Westport Library honoring Patmeena Sabit, whose debut novel "Good People" just won the 2026 Westport Prize for Literature.
